GREEN COFFEE BEANS
Not only does River Road Coffees have a 100% organic blend but we reuse our coffee bags as well as our boxes. The fresh beans ship in from all over the world in large jute, or burlap, bags. We donate these sacks to over 500 beekeepers and gardeners. The beekeepers tear the bags and use them as fire strips. The gardeners fill the bags with mulch and sell them around Louisiana. When walking into River Road Coffees headquarters there is a huge pyramid of boxes ready to be filled with gold coffee bags. We reuse these boxes to stay green.
